Tommy Eileen Weigand
Tommy Eileen Weigand a.k.a.” White Crazy Woman” a.k.a. “Sioux Keri La ‘tay” (translated means Women who sees into the future or Ghost Eyes). She died October 28, 2016 at 6:00 am. of cancer. No funeral services. Cremation of ashes will be privately scattered.
Born in Great Falls, MT, November 11, 1951, she was raised in Chinook after coming from Twin Bridges Orphans Home. She was raised by her father Orville Shore and her stepmother Lena Shore. Tommy’s biological mother was Marion E. Smith of Fort Benton, MT.
She married Edgar Weigand In 1972, they later divorced. Tommy worked at various places, but was mostly a stay at home mom, and a volunteer for many local organizations.
She moved to Harlem where she made her life until her death. She loved donating her beadwork to local fundraising, memorials, and giveaways. She loved dancing in the pow-wows.
She is preceded in death by all concerned parents. Two brothers John Vernon Shore, and Donald Richard Shore. Two sons Neil Weigand and Steven Weigand.
Survivors include one brother James Williams, Colorado Springs, CO, and four sisters Nora Weigand Dodson, MT, Mary Galer Austin, TX, Orvilla Shore Kississmee, FL and Betty Reed Fort Benton, MT.
Surviving sons are J’ean-Paul Weigand (Crystal Gonzales) Chinook, MT and Chris Weigand (Yazime Sanvick) Kalispell, MT.
Surviving her are nine grandchildren. Also surviving her is longtime friend and companion Frank Archambault known as “Possum”
