I got to know Julia up at the Care and Comfort Home. I enjoyed her company. I was very flattered just a few weeks ago when I was visiting with Mom and Julia and Julia refused the offer to be taken to her recliner because she said, "I am enjoying myself." It was clear that she had been feeling pretty tough lately and I felt so sorry for her.
You have my sympathy. It is hard to lose a parent/grandparent no matter how old they are or how much you might have been expecting it and even if you are relieved for their sake that it is over.

I loved this woman!!! So caring, kind and outspoken. She could make me laugh and cry in the same conversation. Godspeed, friend! I know you will be excited to see Vern and Carolyn.
Prayers of comfort being sent to the family.
